I really had trouble with my snoring that people would tell me when I got up the next morning on how loud I was. I was searching for something online and I came to a page about Stop Snoring Exercises that someone can do to get ride of their snoring problems. I bought this product and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

What this product will do is give you excerises that will help you train the tongue which will help prevent it from dropping into your throat when you sleep. Also there are excerise that help Loosen up the Jaw, using the jaw exercises and this will remove any tension from it.

You’ll be surprised how much easier you’ll breath after you do the Jaw exercises. The throat exercises open up the throat, preventing it from closing when you sleep. They’ll also strengthen and lift up your soft palate, so it won’t flap any more.

Snore Pillows

Snoring pillows are usually made out of foam and have design elements that encourage the snorer to sleep on his or her side and this is how they try to reduce the snoring. These pillows were developed by physicians as therapeutic aids.

The chin is kept away from the chest area, and the jaw is pushed forward. This opens up the airway so that the snorer can breathe easier. The manufacturers of these pillows create a thick border around the edge and a thinner central pillow area, basically a slight depression that positions the head in the best position to alleviate heavy snoring and a poor overall posture.

CPAP (Continuous Positive Airways Pressure) Machine

Sleep apnea occurs when the upper airway becomes narrow as the muscles relax naturally during sleep. This reduces oxygen in the blood and causes arousal from sleep. The CPAP machine delivers a stream of compressed air via a hose to a nasal pillow, nose mask, or a full face mask. The CPAP machine opens up the airway under air pressure so that unobstructed breathing become possible reducing and/or preventing sleep apnea. You will get a better nights sleep with it.

How to stop snoring

You might think to your self that you might not have a way to stop snoring but there are actually a lot noninvasive ways to stop snoring.

1. If you are obese then you should loose the weight and this will help control your snoring. The weight loss will reduce the fatty tissue in the back of the throat and this will decrease snoring.

2. You can also sleep on your side instead of your back.

3. You can try to elevate your head which will make your breathing easier and encourage your tongue and jaw to move forward.

4. Avoid alcohol, some medications, and food before going to bed because it increases the relaxation of throat and tongue muscles, which makes snoring more likely. Sleeping pills or tranquilizers may help you sleep, but they will also relax your muscles and increase the chance of snoring. High-fat milk products or soy milk products cause mucus to build up in the throat which can lead to snoring as well.

You are probably a snorer or you have someone in your household that is one. You came here to get help on snoring issues. Most people over the age of 30 snores, and with obesity will give you greater chance of becoming a snorer.

When you sleep your muscles relax and muscle tone also decreases. In the throat a soft skin or a soft palate becomes relaxed and this skin reverberates in the throat when you breathe and this sound is the snoring that you or your family hears at night. If you or someone in your family has a weak throat or a fat neck this can aggravate the condition.

Some snoring is harmless but snoring can also be symptoms of Sleep Apnea. Sleep Apnea is pauses that last long enough so that you miss one or more breaths and this occur repeatedly in your sleep.

Here are signs of Sleep Apnea:

  • Choking or stopping breathing during sleep.
  • Excessive day time sleepiness, irresistible urge to nap.
  • Morning headaches.
  • Limbs jerking during sleep.
  • Waking up tired or thirsty.
  • Snoring.
  • Irritability.
  • Poor memory
  • Long pauses in breathing while sleeping.

If you think you have sleep apnea then you should go to your doctor and have them order a sleep study. In the sleep study they will measure how much and how well you sleep. This will help you decrease your risk of high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, and other medical conditions.
